If you received our latest email about next week’s show, we’re glad you stopped by! As you heard, we’re kicking March off in style as we continue our SweeTheARTshow through March 30..but there’s a lot more to next week’s show.
Galleria Pierra is co-hosting the big night with us, where they’ll be featuring the latest work from Renea Menzies and some of the country’s finest contemporary imported sculptures.

And if you haven’t been to Galleria Pierra, you’re in for a treat. Cast stone, modern art, fireplaces, sculpture — it’s all there in an exquisite setting. Aela Zamecki will tell you it’s where “Art and Style Converge!”
We hope you can join us next week, so please RSVP to Brandy Carlson.

If you know JD Miller, you know he’s a talented artist. Few would deny his practices in 3D Oil Sculpting have raised the bar for contemporary artists. But did you know about his musical talents? He’s been part of the musical collaboration Reflection Theory for several years with his friend Chris Brickler. And if you were on our email list or subscribed to JD’s blog, you’d know he has a new song featured in Brickler’s new documentary on love and relationships, Song of Songs.
JD had this to say about the work:
Chris Brickler and I wrote Laurels of the Canyon(Freedom) and recorded it in LA before Christmas last year. It was written in a 1920’s California bungalow on Laurel Road in Hollywood where many famous 60’s music icons lived and created music. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Joni Mitchell, Jim Morrison, Frank Zappa, Mamma Cass Elliot and tons of others live in the ‘hood. It’s a retro southern California folk-rock tune that captures their collective spirit.
Download JD Miller’s new song below…and don’t forget to leave your comments and tell us what you think.
